The Bible way to God the Father
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ~ John 14:6
Recognize your condition - For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. ~ Romans 3:23
No one is good enough to go to heaven on his own merit. No matter how much good we do, we will always fall short.
Realize the penalty for sin - For the wages of sin is death. ~ Romans 6:23a
Just as there are wages for good, there is punishment for wrong. The penalty for our sin is eternal death in a place called Hell.
Believe Christ died and rose again for you - But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. ~ Romans 5:8
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. ~ I Thessalonians 4:14
Christ's great love for us was shown when He died on the cross to pay our sin debt.
Trust Christ alone as your Savior - ...But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. ~ Romans 6:23b
For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. ~ Romans 10:13
For as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. ~ Jon 1:12
Everlasting life is a gift purchased by the blood of Jesus and offered freely to those who call upon Him by faith. Let us help you in a word of prayer. (Realize it is NOT mere words that save; but, rather, your faith in Jesus Christ.)
Prayer:
God in Heaven, I confess that I am a sinner deserving sin's penalty of death. I believe that Jesus is Lord and that he paid the penalty of sin for me on the cross and that he rose from the dead to provide me with his righteousness. I now turn from my sinful life and in faith receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior, trusting in him alone for forgiveness and eternal life. By your help, I now commit my life to serve you. Thank you, dear Lord, for saving me, in Jesus name, Amen.
