What we believe

Richard and Rebecca were married in 1997.  They have had a variety of ministry experiences including, pastoring, full-time evangelism, church planting helps and a vibrant children's ministry.  Richard earned a ministry bachelors degree and he and Rebecca were heavily involved in planting Refuge Baptist Church in Cumming, GA.  Before moving to Utah, God used them for 5 years assisting the ministry of Christ Life Baptist of Bunker Hill, IL.  They have 5 children, a son-in-law, daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren.  They have a burden for the west, specifically the Utah region.  Richard was called by Heritage Baptist Church to be its Pastor in 2024.  They love hiking and riding ATV's in the mountains of Utah when they have free time.  Their life verses are  Proverbs 3:5-6.

James grew up in Winnemucca, Nevada in a Pastor's home.  God has given him a burden for ministry having completed three years in a four year bachelor's program studying Biblical Ministries.  James married Megan who likewise grew up in a pastor's home.  They recently moved back to Utah and are active in ministry while James finishes his last classes via correspondence.  James currently serves as the minister of music at Heritage while Megan plays the piano for our services.  They recently welcomed their first child, Killian. in October of 2024.
